Summer in Santa Barbara- ahhhh the perfect place for a Summer elopement! Amy and Matt planned a wedding in England with their families, but like so many 2020 couples covid interrupted their original plan. They came up with a plan B to elope at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse. They drove up to Santa Barbara from LA to spend the weekend getting married and celebrating. I met them at the courthouse on a quiet Friday morning and captured their vows and first *married* kiss before we explored the courthouse grounds for photos.
Ceremonies look a little different these days with masks and social distancing but I have witnessed over and over that these new requirements have absolutely zero affect on the emotion and love shared. Somehow the craziness of 2020 seems to only amplify how incredible and powerful wedding ceremonies are.
